This shelving system is based on an American system developed in the 1970s and now manufactured for us in Spain. It’s simple construction requires no special tools for assembly other than a rubber or nylon faced hammer.
The supporting horizontal (orange) beams simply fit into the upright post. Once a bay has been constructed the chipboard panels are laid on top to create a solid heavy load bearing shelf.
This heavy duty system can be ordered in bay lengths starting at 915mm (3’) long up to 2440mm (8’) long. Shelf depths start at 380mm and go up to 1220mm. On this shop page we have detailed 2 heights. Should you require a different height please call the sales office on 0800 592215.
R2
This is the lighter duty version of the R1 shelving and comes in bay lengths of up to 1550mm.
Shelf loadings are lighter than R1 but the cost reflects this fact. Shelf depths start at 305mm and go up to 915mm. See the shelf loadings as detailed.
