Central Hanging Bays

TOOLS REQUIRED:
• Soft-faced hammer
• Safety steps (if the bay height exceeds 2 metres)
• We also recommend wearing gloves

(the number of both hanging beams and standard beams depends on the height and type of garment hanging bay - see table below)

Central Garment Bay - Step 1 Stand up first end frame. Central Garment Bay - Step 2 Connect the two standard beams to the bottom of this first end frame (see the beam clip notes below for more detail).
Note that the top side of the beam has a long groove
Central Garment Bay - Step 3 Stand up second end frame and connect the other ends of the two standard beams to it. Central Garment Bay - Step 4 Connect 2 standard beams to the top of the unit at the front and back (see the beam clip notes below for more detail).
Central Garment Bay - Step 5 Connect 1 hanging beam to the horizontal brace just under the top shelf level. Go to step 6a, 6b, 6c or 6d depending on the height of your bay
Central Garment Bay - Step 6
6a 2000mm high
Connect 1 more hanging beam to the horizontal brace positioned midway between the top shelf level and the bottom shelf level. Connect 2 standard beams to the front and back of the bay at the same level as the hanging beams.
6b 2500mm high
Depending whether the unit is to be fitted with 2 or 3 hanging levels, connect either 1 or 2 more hanging beams to the horizontal braces positioned between the top shelf level and the bottom shelf level. Connect either 2 or 4 standard beams to the front and back of the bay at the same level as the hanging beams.
6c 3000mm high
Connect 2 more hanging beams to the horizontal braces positioned between the top shelf level and the bottom shelf level. Connect 4 standard beams to the front and back of the bay at the same level as the hanging beams.
6d 3400mm high
Connect 3 more hanging beams to the horizontal braces positioned between the top shelf level and the bottom shelf level. Connect 6 standard beams to the front and back of the bay at the same level as the hanging beams.
Central Garment Bay - Step 7 Fit one of the panels onto the top beam level. Central Garment Bay - Step 8 Fit one of the panels on to the bottom beam level.
Central Garment Bay - Step 9 Fit top caps.
Remember these units always require fixing to the wall or the floor (preferably both) with the correct fixings.

 tap clip into position
Beam Clip C
    bend clip over top of beam
